Our cold storage manager and assistant manager each bring over 20 years of experience to their roles, working with a team of employees committed to excellence. Our amazing staff, combined with our state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technologies, enable WesPak to cool, store and ship our fruit in a truly excellent manner.
WesPakâs seven cold storage rooms use large flooded coils for optimum humidity and low air flow. With larger refrigeration coil surfaces, the room temperature can be kept cold with a higher setpoint, giving our rooms a higher natural humidity that results in less shrivel, greener grape stems, and fruit that promises longer storage and shelf life.

In addition to our seven cold storage rooms, we have eight cold storage precooler rooms, each of which can also be used as additional storage space. The purpose of these rooms is to drop the core temperature of the fruit to its optimum level as quickly and safely as possible, so shipments can be made the same day as packing. When we handle grapes, total utilization of sulfur dioxide is combined with forced air to thoroughly penetrate the grapes, maximizing freshness and preventing decay.
